Tata Power News; Mumbai railroad stations will get EV charging stations as a feature of another activity to advance e-portability in the Mumbai district. The program is a cooperation between UN Environment Program (UNEP), Tata Power, and Central Railway. Tata Power as of now has 300 EV charging stations introduced in 40 urban communities around India.

CSMT (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus)

  • Parel
  • Byculla.

Stations that will get chargers in the subsequent stage include:

  • Kurla LTT (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus)
  • Bhandup
  • Panvel
  • Kurla.

“An EV charging station has been introduced at Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CMT) in organization with TATA Power and UNEP,” Robin Kalia, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of the Central Railway of Mumbai, said. “We intend to extrapolate this model for introducing EV charging stations at all significant Railway Stations under Mumbai division.
