Vodafone Idea Minimum Recharge Plan
Vodafone Idea recharge Plan; Hot on the heels of Airtel and Jio for free of charge |freely giving|giving freely” making a gift of their Rs 49 plan for free to underprivileged customers, Vodafone Idea has also thrown its hat within the ring.
The network provider has officially announced that it, too, will let low-income users avail of its Rs 49 recharge plan just one occasion .
Almost like Airtel, the Vodafone Idea Rs 49 plan also offers Rs 39 worth of talktime, 100MB of mobile internet, and 30 days of validity. Local and national calls are charged at Rs 0.25/minute.
Vodafone Idea also doubled a number of the advantages of its Rs 79 plan, which offers Rs 64 worth of talktime, 200MB mobile internet, and 28 days of validity.
Much like, Airtel, Vodafone Idea also claims that this endeavour will help over 60 million underprivileged users, and said the subsequent via a handout (via ETTelecom), “As a special gesture, with this one-time offer, VIL are going to be extending benefits worth up to Rs 2,940 million to the low-income group users within the country”.
Interestingly enough, none of the telecom companies who made the announcement shed light on just how they plan on letting low-income users access the free Rs 49 plan.
Tons of the underprivileged users in question aren’t particularly tech-savvy, so redirecting them to a website/app link would be of little use. Furthermore, many of the users in question won’t have access to a smartphone, too.
Though, Company hasn’t announced who is eligible for the scheme.
Nor can we know just once they plan on rolling out these schemes. One can only hope that they provide a more detailed explanation soon, because it would stand to profit tons of low-income users.
